Recent |
On
a recent trip to Santa Fe we discovered a hidden treasure called Puye
Cliff Dwellings. (Pooh - yea) Place where the rabbits gather. It's located
less than an hour northwest of Santa Fe and is the ancestral home of the
Santa Clara Pueblo. The tour guides are fantastic and have lots of stories
that bring the ruins alive! |

Pacheta
Falls is truly a hidden treasure in the White Mountains of Arizona. It's
hard to find because the roads are like a bowl of speghetti but it's worth
the effort to spend time at this perfect picnic spot. |

Waterfalls
in the desert are a rare thing, especially one as big as Grand Falls.
The spring runoff provides the water and it can be fickle at best. Spring
of this year was a good show due to the snow in the mountains and some
spring rains. Also known as the Chocolate Falls due to all the silt from
the Little Colorado River, this is the biggest waterfall in Arizona. |
